Universal Science has been supporting the EV movement. We manufacture and supply products that protect EV batteries and electronics from heat, RFI and environmental damage. Universal Science has worked with some of the biggest brands within the electric vehicle industry.
We assist battery constructors with their initial design. We manufacture components using the world’s leading materials to house Li-ion batteries for some of the most demanding applications, such as Formula E. Our products ensure high performance, repeatability, longevity and safety of Li-ion batteries used for electric vehicles.
Our Work with Formula E
Universal Science supplies plastic chassis sub-structure components and structural foam to house the Li-ion cells for protection against damage from vibration, heat, electrical failure and fire propagation.
Materials for all other EVs include lightweight cell carriers, fire retardant materials, vibration damping, thermal interface materials, EMI shields, plastic sub-structures/chassis and metal heat spreaders, to name a few.
